Jim Beam Suntory Commemorative Wood Box

This unique wooden box was produced at a very low volume to celebrate a special moment at Beam Suntory. Built to stand the test of time utilizing an 18mm thick solid wood. The striking character of this box is the charred effect of the wood. This was achieved by painstakingly burning each piece of wood by hand before assembly. The deep grooves in the wood grain were also created by this hand charring process. The box is finished off with a single strip of natural wood and a black silkscreen print. A foil zodiac label was inset into the wood for a final exclamation point.
