Aberfeldy 40 Wood Box

An extremely rare 40-year-old single malt deserves an equally rare packaging execution. The spotlight on this box is shared equally between the stunning face panel metal plate and the lush pull-out drawer bottle fitment. A subtle sequential number stamp in the top left corner.

This collector’s edition box is constructed with a base of MDF wood with a stained and matte-coated wood veneer. The front of the box is covered with a 3mm metal plate that is acid etched to create small depressions across the front of the plate. Gold electroplating with a black silkscreen print finishes off the decoration and striking detail of this plate.

The inner fitment is housed inside a pull-out drawer. High-density EVA foam is wrapped in high-quality black leather that has an embossed texture. A dual snap leather neck holder holds the bottle firmly in place. A gold grosgrain ribbon enables an easy pull-out feature for the bottleneck.
